The Tree Guardian was founded by Tarek Hussein in 2017 with a single purpose: to bring genuine arboricultural expertise to Sydney's growing cities. After years of working across government and commercial projects, Tarek saw firsthand how poor tree management decisions were costing communities — both in dollars and in lost canopy.
Re-established in 2021, The Tree Guardian now delivers a full suite of services — from AQF Level 5 arborist reports and development consultancy to large-scale tree planting programs — always guided by evidence, ethics and a deep respect for the urban ecosystem.
